Properties in the Township of Brick are assessed and taxed in accordance with New Jersey State Law.  Brick Township currently has over 32,500 taxable properties totaling more than $10,000,000,000 dollars in assessed value.

The Tax Assessor’s Office is responsible for assessing the current full and fair value of all properties in the Township of Brick.  Once those assessments have been established, it is the responsibility of the Tax Collector’s Office to collect the assessed property taxes.  The Tax Collector’s Office staff collects taxes for the local government, the county government, the township schools, local fire districts, county health, county library and open space taxes.
