On or about November 11, the Ocean County Utilities Authority will begin replacing the force main (sewer pipe) along the westbound shoulder of Princeton Avenue starting at the Jordan Road & Princeton Avenue intersection to Beaver Dam road. During the installation of the new force main pipe, residents may have limited access to their driveways for a short time while the new pipe is being installed in the roadway in the front of their residence. OCUA and their contractor will attempt to contact each home owner the day before the work is to be conducted in the vicinity of their home so they have a chance to relocate their vehicles.
The contractors must excavate and install new pipe and temporarily pave as they move along the shoulder of the highway. The BTPD has been made aware of the work and will be on site for traffic control.
Two Way Traffic will be maintained throughout the project. The project is expected to last approximately 60 days.
