Ocean County Shredding Program Visits Brick June 17

The Ocean County Department of Solid Waste Management’s Residential Document Shredding Program visits Brick Township Public Works Yard, 836 Ridge Road, on Saturday, June 17 from 9am-1pm (or until the truck fills up). 

This is for paper documents and paper forms.  No x-rays, CDs, floppy discs, file folders or micro film.  Each vehicle is limited to 6 boxes or bags of documents.  No commercial or business documents.

Shredded Paper No Longer Accepted in Automated Cans

At the request of the Ocean County Department of Solid Waste Management, the Brick Township Public Works Department will no longer accept shredded paper in automated recycling cans. Residents can drop shredded paper off at the Brick Township Recycling Center, 836 Ridge Road, Monday through Saturday, 8am – 3:30pm. Residents can also bring shredded paper to the Northern Ocean County Recycling Facility on New Hampshire Avenue in Lakewood Township.
