The Township of Brick is seeking an experienced professional with technical knowledge and strong leadership skills to effectively manage and guide the Department of Public Works. The position entails planning, supervising and directing all aspects of public works including, but not limited to: Sanitation/Recycling, Roads, Parks, Building and Grounds, In-House Construction, Fleet Maintenance, snow removal, capital improvements.
A collaborative and open minded individual will be a good fit for this position. The candidate must be proficient in customer service, budgeting, planning, and personnel management skills.
At a minimum, candidates must have 5 years of experience in the administration and supervision of municipal public works. Candidates must possess a valid Certified Public Works Manager Certification. A valid NJ driver’s license is required.
