Brick Youth is Mayor John Ducey’s initiative to engage the young people of Brick Township.  With the enthusiastic stewardship of Coordinator Brandi White, Brick Youth provides young people with a greater voice in the community and with opportunities to enjoy and participate in community events. The mission of Brick Youth is to empower the youth of our community to be more civic-minded and the leaders of tomorrow.

Lounge 270 Teen Center

Lounge 270 is Brick Township’s first municipally-run center exclusively for teenagers.  Located in the Brick Township Civic Plaza, 270 Chambers Bridge Road, Lounge 270 will provide teenagers with a place to gather and call their own.

Lounge 270 has televisions, video game systems, computers, games, foosball, furniture and much more! The teen center will host special events for the youth of the community throughout the year.

A membership card is required to enter Lounge 270. Membership cards are free and can be picked up at the Brick Township Recreation Department (M-F, 7:30am – 4pm) or during Lounge 270 hours. If your card is lost, there is a $5 card replacement fee.

Lounge 270 is open on Mondays from 5pm – 9pm for middle school students and on Thursdays from 5pm – 9pm for high school students.

Lounge 270 was funded by a grant awarded by the Ocean Partnership for Children.
