The Human Resources Office is responsible for the management of the employees of the Brick Township Municipal Government.  The Township of Brick participates in the New Jersey Civil Service System and as such all procedures regarding employment are dictated by New Jersey Civil Service Rules.  Anyone seeking employment with the Township of Brick should visit the New Jersey Civil Service Commission website to view job postings. Other duties of the Human Resources Office include the management of employee health benefits, retiree benefits and insurance issues, the coordination of workplace seminars and education sessions. Safety and Insurance is a component of the Human Resources Office.  Safety and Insurance is responsible for the management of all non-health related insurance policies and programs for the township including workers compensation.  The Risk Manager investigates all claims made against the township for incidents involving township property, employees and assets. PER DIEM BUS DRIVER – The Township of Brick is seeking applicants able to perform the duties of a bus driver for our senior services department. The position entails driving the senior services bus, assisting passengers, responding to inquiries from the public, and keeping records. The candidate must be responsible, patient, and self-directed. Candidates must be willing to become familiar with rules and laws pertinent to the work. Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. A valid commercial driver’s license with passenger endorsement is required. This is a part-time, per diem position. SEASONAL/PART-TIME LABORER: Must be at least 18 years old. CDL preferred, but not required. Responsibilities include bulk pick up, park maintenance, litter clean up, building maintenance, cleaning and other various duties. Heavy lifting is required. Must comply with all safety standards. LIFEGUARD – Must be at least 16 years old. Must be able to swim 500 yards and run 1 mile. Applicants must provide doctor’s note and all paperwork prior to tryout. Tryout scheduled for May 7h at 3pm at Brick Beach 3. Training will be provided. Must be available May 17th thru May 19th for training. Season is Memorial Day thru Labor Day. Starting pay $16.00/hour.

WINDWARD BEACH MAINTENANCE – Must be at least 16 years old. Responsibilities include park maintenance, litter clean up, building maintenance, cleaning and other various duties. Must comply with all safety standards. Must be responsible and dependable. Starting pay $14.13/per hour.
