The Human Resources Office is responsible for the management of the employees of the Brick Township Municipal Government.  The Township of Brick participates in the New Jersey Civil Service System and as such all procedures regarding employment are dictated by New Jersey Civil Service Rules.  Anyone seeking employment with the Township of Brick should visit the New Jersey Civil Service Commission website to view job postings.

Other duties of the Human Resources Office include the management of employee health benefits, retiree benefits and insurance issues, the coordination of workplace seminars and education sessions.

Safety and Insurance is a component of the Human Resources Office.  Safety and Insurance is responsible for the management of all non-health related insurance policies and programs for the township including workers compensation.  The Risk Manager investigates all claims made against the township for incidents involving township property, employees and assets.
